Available Plans
TeamPanel offers four plans – monthly or annually:
| Plan | Price (monthly) |
|---|---|
| Free | €0 |
| Starter | €8 |
| Pro | €16 |
| Expert | €30 |
With annual billing, you save about two months compared to monthly billing.
Limits and feature scope (members, groups, automations, to-do boards, etc.) vary by plan. You'll find the current overview on the pricing page.
14-Day Trial
For Starter, Pro, and Expert, you can start a 14-day trial once per team:
- The trial applies once per team and per paid plan entry.
- After the 14 days expire, the subscription automatically renews unless you cancel beforehand.
- The Free plan remains available indefinitely – without a trial and without automatic renewal.
Start a Trial or Change Plans
Team administrators and owners manage the plan directly in TeamPanel under /plan:
- Open your team's Plan page.
- Select the desired tier (Starter, Pro, or Expert).
- Start the trial or confirm the upgrade.
On the same page, you can see the current plan, renewal date, and make upgrades or downgrades later.
Payment Methods & Invoices (Account Panel)
Payment details and invoices are managed in the Account Panel at account.team-panel.com:
- Sign in and open Billing.
- You'll be redirected to the Stripe customer portal.
There you can:
- Add, change, or remove payment methods
- View active subscriptions
- View and download past invoices
Upgrade, Downgrade, Cancellation & Reactivation
| Action | Where / What happens |
|---|---|
| Upgrade | Choose a higher plan on /plan – limits and features are adjusted accordingly. |
| Downgrade | Choose a lower plan on /plan. Note that limits (e.g. members or groups) may be tighter afterward. |
| Cancel | Via the Plan page or the Stripe portal in the Account Panel. After cancellation, the paid period usually remains usable until the end of the billing cycle. |
| Reactivate | After cancellation, you can reactivate the subscription as long as the team still exists – again via /plan or the Stripe portal. |
Storage after a downgrade
If actual team storage exceeds the new limit, a 30-day grace period starts when the overage is detected. Cancellation alone does not start this period. The active plan and current usage determine it. Teams that already exceed the limit when cleanup is introduced also receive a full grace period.
Shared storage includes media, member files, to-do attachments, and backups. New uploads are blocked while usage exceeds the limit. Existing files remain accessible during the grace period with the required permissions. An existing file is not deleted only because it exceeds the lower file-size limit for new uploads.
Warnings and storage management
The team owner receives emails at these times while storage remains over the limit:
| Time | Message |
|---|---|
| Day 0 | Grace period starts, current usage, limit, and earliest cleanup date |
| Day 14 | Reminder |
| Day 23 | Warning: seven days remain |
| Day 29 | Final warning |
| After cleanup | Summary with the number of deleted files and storage released |
Automatic deletion starts only after the deadline and at least 24 hours after the email service accepts the final warning. If sending fails, cleanup stops and the system tries to send the warning again. Acceptance by the email service does not confirm that the owner read the message.
A persistent notice in TeamPanel shows that storage exceeds the limit. The owner and members with Superadmin can open Manage storage to see usage by source, the current deadline, and planned deletions. Other members only see a notice to contact the owner.
You can upgrade again at any time: Open Upgrade plan, or delete files you no longer need in their source module. Once the limit covers current usage, no further deletions are started for this overage. Deletion operations that have already started cannot be stopped. A small upgrade that still leaves storage over the limit does not reset the deadline.
Which files are deleted?
Cleanup removes only enough files to bring usage within the current limit. Usage and the plan are checked again before each further deletion:
- Old backups, initially keeping the newest backup for each backup job.
- Media.
- Attachments of completed or archived to-dos, including tasks in archived boards.
- Other to-do attachments and member files.
- The newest backups initially kept.
The oldest files in each group are removed first. The preview and required deletion amount change with usage. System backups can share stored data, so the actual space released may only be known after deletion. A further downgrade must not shorten the deadline already announced. Use the current date shown in storage management.
Deletions are permanent
Automatically deleted files cannot be restored. Download important files before the deadline, free storage, or upgrade your plan. Existing folder rules continue to apply independently of this grace period.
Simulation mode
When storage management shows simulation mode, the deletion plan is checked, but this storage cleanup does not delete files. Manual deletion and existing retention rules are not affected.
Note on automatic renewal
After a trial or with an active subscription, the plan automatically renews as long as you don't cancel. Check your payment method and renewal date in the Account Panel in good time.
